Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of FeedbackBuddy, including the dashboard, Shopify app, website SDK, hosted survey pages and APIs (the "Service"). By creating an account or installing the app you agree to them on behalf of yourself and the organization you represent.

1. Accounts and organizations

You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. An organization can have several owners, admins, staff and viewers. Owners are responsible for who they invite and for activity in their organization.

2. Plans, billing and trials

• The Free plan is free with the limits shown on our pricing page. Paid plans renew monthly or yearly until cancelled.
• Organizations connected to Shopify are billed through Shopify Billing; others are billed by card through our payment processor.
• Shopify development stores may use paid features free of charge while they remain development stores. When a store moves to a paid Shopify plan, campaigns pause until a plan is selected.
• Free trials convert to a paid plan unless cancelled before the trial ends. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
• If you exceed a plan limit, new responses are still stored but may be hidden until you upgrade.

3. Your content and your respondents

You own the surveys you create and the feedback you collect ("Customer Data"). You grant us the rights needed to host, process and display it to provide the Service. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect feedback, for the notices you give respondents, and for the content of your surveys and emails. We process Customer Data as described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Email campaigns

Feedback emails are sent through the email provider and sending domain you connect. You are responsible for your provider account, for complying with anti-spam laws, and for only emailing people you are permitted to contact.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use the Service to send spam, collect sensitive data such as payment card numbers or passwords through surveys, impersonate others, break the law, or interfere with the Service or other customers. We may suspend accounts that do.

6. AI features

AI-generated tags, summaries and answers can be inaccurate. Review them before relying on them for important decisions.

7. API

Keep API keys secret. We may rate-limit or change the API with reasonable notice for breaking changes to versioned endpoints.

8. Availability and changes

We work hard to keep the Service available but provide it "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We may improve or change features; we will give notice of material adverse changes to paid plans.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Termination

You can cancel at any time from billing settings or by uninstalling the Shopify app. You can export your data before cancelling. We may terminate for material breach of these terms.
